In addition to completing a career in law enforcement, I have been a photographer since the early 1960s.
Since retiring, I have lived in Flagstaff, Arizona (my new adopted hometown) since 1998. I devote my time to photographing classic cars and hot rods, airplanes, and the beautiful natural wonders around northern Arizona. I build my own picture frames, cut my own mats and glass and sell mounted and framed prints. I also am proud that I have won several regional awards for my photography.
In 2001, I made the leap from film to digital capture reasoning that a computer monitor was better for my health than chemical fumes and dim yellow lights. Since then, I have fully embraced the digital medium finding it is equally as rewarding as working in a conventional wet darkroom. |
